Agile Requirements Engineering at XITASO: Supporting the Client Vision from Conception to Completion
This presentation will explore the role of Agile Requirements Engineering (RE) in product development. In particular, we will look at the flexible nature of requirements, discuss their use and work out together what we mean by agile RE. We will then share practical insights and highlight our biggest challenges in the iterative process of agile RE. Using concrete examples, which we will contrast with the theoretical approaches of Agile Mindest, Scrum and Lean Startup, we will highlight the stumbling blocks that arise, their causes and the strategies for overcoming them. In doing so, we will present proven procedures and techniques from the organisation that are used to capture, document, validate and prioritise requirements in the system context..
