Venue: Winterthur, Switzerland
REFSQ 2024 will be hosted as a joint event of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and will be held on the premises of the ZHAW Campus Stadt-Mitte, in Winterthur, Switzerland. The venue is situated in the first industrialisation development area in Switzerland, the Sulzer industrial area.
The Hall 180, built in 1924, offers spacious, light-flooded rooms that provide the freedom for one to define and shape their own working space and ideas. The halls promote a pioneering spirit of engineering and architecture, promoting values such as openness and tolerance, interaction and immediacy, as well as diversity of opinions and attitudes. The premises with their unique atmosphere are emblematic of an inspiring place to learn and work. The students’ workrooms, the lecture rooms and the lecturers’ workrooms are open and connected. This directly promotes social and creative exchange.
