A Tale from the Wild: Experiences From Decades of Requirements Engineering in a Danish Software Consultancy Company
We consider work done by the Danish software consulting company Mjølner. For more than 20 years, Mjølner have developed tailored IT systems for a broad range of customers and domains. Requirements engineering (RE) is crucial for the success of our projects. In this talk, we highlight projects where Mjølner’s RE work had particularly interesting aspects or where it was particularly difficult. We reflect on which ways of thinking, concepts and techniques from the RE body of knowledge we have used. We also discuss how the RE community can better help industrial practitioners.
